A Little late....

I realized that I neglected to post any pictures from our trip to California over Christmas. How in the world is it Feb already? I have been sick for the last week now. Ben had a cold last week for a few days and I knew it was only a matter of time until I got it (we like to share cooties). But this wonderful bug has stayed with me for over a week now. I mean I have not been able to breathe for over a week now. Its pretty miserable, especially being 8 mos preggers. So I have been a couch potato all weekend and am hoping that I can kick it.

Baby Shower in California

We were very blessed to have a baby shower while we were home in california. It was great to see lots of old friends that we don't get to see very often. We were so blessed by every one's love and support of this "new adventure" we are starting.

Ben's quiet book. Ben's mom saved this precious memory from when Ben was little. His cousin made it for him one christmas when he was around 4. Every page is fabric and has some sort of activity i.e tie the bow, button the button, count the shapes...so cute! I can't wait for our little ones to read it. Thanks MIL! I couldn't have asked for a more precious gift!

The name game

We are quickly approaching week #31. Baby is getting bigger by the day and making his/her presence known. Baby's movements are more noticeable as body parts poking out, then before when they were just kicks. Every day life is getting more and more difficult as I don't quite have the same endurance and shape I once did.

We are still undecided in the name department. I'm feeling a little pressure as we are in the last few weeks before baby comes. I think it is even more difficult because we don't know the sex and have to decide on two names that we love.

Just for fun here is a survey of some of the names that we have thrown around. Some of them I just threw in there and some we are seriously considering.

Ugly Sweater Party

Our wonderful small group at church had an ugly sweater party before Christmas. Ben found some amazing hidious git ups at a good will...I'm pretty sure the one he picked out for me was home made. priceless...
